You can start the wizard via the Run Setup action button on the Role Center home page. If you don’t see this button, you should switch to the E-commerce Manager Role via My Settings in the top right menu.
The wizard consists of 2 steps.
Step 1: Your Commerce 365 platform credentials
Enter your App ID and App Secret. If you have installed a trial version via Microsoft AppSource, you should have received an email with a set of credentials. If you have purchased a license/subscription, you should have received these credentials from your implementation partner, or directly from idyn. If you have not received anything, please contact sales@idyn.nl.
App ID’s and secrets usually look like this; yrcmpn0a0b42be209db7×433pb3744 / 2j3er9823rhwqi8o7rhq3i4o7rhy323r
Step 2: Your Magento credentials
Enter both the Magento REST API Url and the Access Token. A REST API Url usually looks like https://www.yourstore.com/rest/ and if you don’t have an Access Token yet, please follow the instructions on this page: Creating a Magento Integration
The setup wizard will automatically validate the credentials you have entered, and it will tell you if something is wrong.
When all credentials and Urls are entered correctly you should end up with a screen like the one below.
Click finish and the application will automatically download all necessary data from your Magento installation.
If you ever want to change the values which you have just entered, go to Administration – Setup.
Now that you have run the wizard, and that your Business Central system is connected to your Magento system, you can now start to further configure the application by going through the next chapters in this manual.
