By the time you have completed the general setup, your NAV system is connected with Magento, and it is now time to synchronize the websites and store views you have configured in Magento so that you can start using them in NAV.
Do this by going to Departments/NAVcommerce/Administration/Setup/Websites and click on Update From Magento. This will simply update your list of websites with all the websites you have defined in Magento.
If you dont have any other website than just the default one, but you plan to add more websites later on. Don’t worry. You can just come back to this screen later on and click the update button again.
Just as with the websites we described above, you can sync your stores (and store views). Again, just click the Update From Magento button, and all the store views that have been set up in Magento will be shown on this screen, and you can start working with them.
NAVcommerce fully supports the Magento multi-store setup. But, it might be good to know that although you are running multiple websites and store views, you don’t have to enter data specific to each store view, you can also just us the default (global) content for all stores.
